Academic Programme / Academic Organisation / External Examinations

Students normally aim for the Lebanese Baccalaureate administered by the Department of Education and Fine Arts of the Lebanese Government. Success in that examination provides, for example, a basis for entering the first year of the Lebanese University programme or the Sophomore year of an American University.

In recent years the School has also run very successfully a High School
programme in which students who have exemption from Arabic studies are
prepared for the Freshman year of an American University. As far as
possible this course is run in conjunction with the Baccalaureate
programme in the appropriate subjects.
The School follows the normal Lebanese educational structure as shown:

At the end of Class Nine students are entered for the Lebanese Brevet examination.

Students are also prepared for the SAT examination in Class Eleven.
