Former Students

A word about the title, Former Students. For as long as I can remeber Mr. Colin White and Mrs. Joan White always refered to students that had graduacted from LESB&G as "Former Students". I grew used to the word and it is the one that I would natuarlly use. However, it seems as if the rest of the world uses the term "alumni". You will therefore see the words used interchangably throughout this site and particularly this section of the site.

I have been wanting to put this section of the site up for a long, long time and I have finally manged to do it. The basic idea is that this page will eventually contain a list of all Former Students' names with the year of their graduation. We will start with those who have graduated mosr recently (2006-2007 as I write) and work back to the 1960s I hope!

There is also a link to a LES Loueizeh (LESB&G) Alumni Database here that will open in a new tab or window. Please record your name and all the details that you can. Hopefully shortly I will have a place where you can put a photo but I am not sure if that is a great idea. Perhaps I will just put a line on the form where you can put a URL link. In that way the photos will be uptodate and you can link to either your Facebook profile or to some pictures of you on Flickr! Let me know what you think is best.

Lists of Former Students by Year

This is a drop down menu that will help you select any academic year between 1960-1961 and the latest graduating year. For those that are interested, the menu is entirely CSS and has been adapted from a menu on Stu Nicholls excellent site. I do not think it works great under IE but that is why you should be using Firefox. One day I might get around to fixing the hacks that IE needs, but not today!
