Dear Parents and Students. After working for more than 48 hours on the system failure that caused our outage on Wednesday morning, we have unfortunately failed to recover to a place where we can start to run the school network system reliably.
As a result we will not be having school tomorrow (Friday 26MAR2021) for any classes in the Junior or Senior Departments. Infant Department classes will run as normal tomorrow.
This means that we will have lost two school days in the Junior and Senior Departments. We will be replacing those lost days with Wednesday 31MAR2021 and Wednesday 28APR2021, which were previously scheduled as part of the Easter vacation.
All Departmental Offices will be open tomorrow as normal between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon.
Two important services that are provided by the school computer system will not be available tomorrow :
1: Official receipts. Handwritten ones will be given out tomorrow followed by official ones send to you by WhatsApp when they are ready.
2 : Official school transcripts and any similar documents. These will all be processed on Monday 29MAR2021.
I apologize for the disruption that this massive system failure has brought and thank you for your continued patience.
