Further to the announcement of the Minister of Education that the Brevet exams are cancelled, we are sad! Most of the children have worked hard to get ready for these mocks and are ready for the Government Exams.
However, they have spoken, the exams are cancelled.
Therefore, things have changed. Book day for 9B, 9C and 9D is now tomorrow, Thursday 22JUN2023. They should also bring all their report folders that some of them have still not returned. The students need to be in school by 8:00 am and the EARLIEST that they can leave is 10:00 am. Of course, for some, it might be MUCH longer than that! However, they will all be finished by the time the buses are due to move : 12:30 pm.
Book Day is now tomorrow for 9B, 9C, 9D

Important notes from Day One of SE06
1 : NO student is allowed to go anywhere near the Junior school. You are NOT allowed to sit on the swings, you are not allowed past this end of the indoor BBall court.
2 : You are NOT allowed to use your phone even if you have finished your exams. Any phone being used will be taken away as on a normal school day.
3 : You can leave the school at any time AFTER you have finished your exams IF your parents send the following message to 71 183 559 [just copy/paste] :
“I allow my son/daughter Fred/a Bloggs to leave school when they finish their exams”
We will prepare a permission slip, which you will pick up in the break after the first set of exams. You will use this slip to leave via the front gate of the Senior Department.

Notes to remember for SE06
1 : Full uniform must be worn, either sports or normal. Black Grad T-shirts can be worn with shorts, but NOT with trousers. Be very careful, uniform violation in SE06 means NOT doing the exam. You will just be sent home, scoring zero on the exam.
2 : If you want to leave early and you are in classes 9 – 12 you can do so with a letter from your Mum and/or Dad that states that you can leave early ion the three days of exams.
3 : Write in BLACK pen only. Blue pen scripts will not be marked.
4 : For Classes 9B, 9C, 12M, 12E, 12SE you can leave the exam early, providing you obey the following rules :
a : Earliest leaving time : 1 hour after the START of the exam.
b : Latest leaving time : 20 minutes before the END of the exam.
Confused? Here is an example. A three-hour exam starts at 8:00 am. You can leave starting at 9:00 am, but you are NOT allowed to leave after 10:40 am.
ALL other classes have to stay for the entire duration of all exams.
5 : Buses leave at 1:15 pm. If your exam ends later (only Class 12), you have to provide your own transport home.
