Several days ago I announced that the school will print out any worksheets that you need. This system has worked well for the large majority of parents and students that have used it.

However, there are a few points that people need to remember. Without these your worksheets will not be printed :

1 : We will only print PDF documents. Documents that have .pdf as their file extension.

2 : Only emails sent with the subject : DLP Print Please will be printed.

3 : Only emails sent to admin@lesbg.com will be printed

4 : Only email with the files as ATTACHMENTS will be printed. Some people are sending us files linked to their Google Drive. We are unable to print those files.

5 : Send all attachments in ONE email

It looks like we will be at home for a long time!!!! For one LAST time we are opening the school for ALL students to come and get their books. Please take this opportunity (your LAST opportunity) to come and collect ALL you books. Do not leave ONE book or copybook in school.

The school will be open from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Friday 27MAR2020. There will be NO one to help you, all staff will have gone home. All classrooms will be open but the school will be empty. If you meet anyone in the school (other parents) please observe the rules of social distancing : a minimum of 2m!

Several parents have been in contact with me today about the problem of printing out the worksheets when print shops and libraries are closed.

The school will print out any worksheets that you need. You only have to send them as PDF attachments in an email to admin@lesbg.com and they will be ready within 24 hours of your email. Hopefully less! Pickup is between 8:00 am an 2:00 pm. If you have many worksheets, send them as many attachments in ONE email. Please make sure the subject of the email is : DLP Print Please

Due to an software malfunction the last minute of the 2:00 pm Livestream today did not make it to the stream. It died.

Further to the announcement last Friday by the Ministry of Education, the school will be closed from Monday 16MAR2020 until Friday 20MAR2020.

We are also shutting the school facilities down completely and will be running only the following services from midnight tonight, Sunday 15MAR2020 :

General Office hours : The Junior Department building will be shut completely. All enquiries will have to be directed to the Senior Administration which will be open every day for phone enquiries only from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. No visitors or appointments will take place this coming week. We will only respond to phone calls.

Accounting Office hours : The Accounting Office will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon.

The Distance Learning Project (DLP) is ongoing as teachers continue to post videos and worksheets through our internet portal LESSON (lesson.lesbg.com). All students will be fully responsible for all the material that has been covered in the videos posted by their teachers. The material in the videos will not be retaught.

There seems a strong possibility that in the near future the government will announce that unnecessary travel will be stopped. If any students need to get books or materials from school they can do so this evening, Sunday 15MAR2020, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. They will not be allowed to come to school again to get any books or materials.
