We have been invited by the American University of Beirut to be part of a study of mothers and their career choices. Details are below.

Report Day is as scheduled on Thursday 06JUL2023 between 08:00:00 am and 11:00:00 am.

No reports will be given outside these hours.

Important things to remember :

1. If you are asked for a meeting with Mr. Steve, schedule it immediately. He will NOT be meeting anyone on Thursday 06JUL2023 but will be on 7 days after that.
2. If you cannot make it personally, please send a representative with THREE things. (1) A copy of YOUR ID (2) A copy of the ID of the person that is picking your report up (3) A note from you saying  : “Please allow …… to pick up my report.” If these three things are not present, your report cannot be picked up.

I will be emailing every student on Wednesday 05JUL2023 in the afternoon on their student email (@lesbg.com)  with details of any owing monies that they have to settle before they pick up their reports. These will be for the following 9 things :

1. Accounting Issues (Delayed, unpaid dues)
2. Books Lost or Damaged from Book Day
3. Class Breakages (chairs, desks, class walls, class blinds)
4. Lost Levelled Reading Books
5. Lost Library Books
6. Payment for Camps (Independence, Ski)
7. Payment For University Applications
8. Personal Breakages (chairs, desks, class walls, class blinds)
9. Anything not covered in the above 8.

These can be paid for on Thursday 06JUL2023 before you pick up the report. Note that the VAST majority of students owe less than $ 2.00, most;y for broken chairs and broken blinds.

Further to the announcement of the Minister of Education that the Brevet exams are cancelled, we are sad! Most of the children have worked hard to get ready for these mocks and are ready for the Government Exams.

However, they have spoken, the exams are cancelled.

Therefore, things have changed. Book day for 9B, 9C and 9D is now tomorrow, Thursday 22JUN2023. They should also bring all their report folders that some of them have still not returned. The students need to be in school by 8:00 am and the EARLIEST that they can leave is 10:00 am. Of course, for some, it might be MUCH longer than that! However, they will all be finished by the time the buses are due to move : 12:30 pm.

Book Day is now tomorrow for 9B, 9C, 9D
