Starting Wednesday 04DEC2024, the following classes will no longer be making videos or holding Google Meetings :

Senior Department : 12M, 12E, 12SE, 9D, 11D, 12D, 10C, 9C

Junior Department : J1 Support Group, Junior 2R, LKG Puffin, Junior 1D, Junior 1E Small Group, Junior 1N, Junior 3S, Junior 3G Small group, Junior 4J, Junior 5A

This will be posted on a regular basis.

Starting Wednesday 04DEC2024, the following classes will no longer be making videos or holding Google Meetings :

Senior Department : 12M, 12E, 12SE, 9D, 11D, 12D, 10C

Junior Department : J1 Support Group, 2R

Due to the changing security situation in Lebanon, we will be steadily closing our online system.

The LAST videos will be made on Monday 23DEC2024. The last Google Meetings will be on Thursday 19DEC2024.

However, before that date, we will be phasing out our videos depending on the number of students attending our classes.

I will use Class 6F (a class that does not exist!) as an example. The total number of students registered for 6F is 30. At the moment, 24 (80%) are present in school and 6 are online. When the number present climbs to more than 90%, we will stop making videos in that class and all Google Meetings will stop. This means that if 27 students attend in 6F, the online system will stop for that class. WHATEVER happens, even if less than 27 students are present in class, the last videos will be posted on Monday 23DEC2024.

This will be the case for ALL classes.

So far, Class 12M and Junior 1 Small Group have stopped making videos.

As we are eagerly looking to go back to the normal 7-hour timetable, the Google Meetings might well end BEFORE the 23DEC2024. The day we implement the full 7-hour timetable is the day we stop the Google Meetings.

Dear Friends, further to the announcement of the Minister of Education a few minutes ago, the school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 27NOV2024.

The teachers will NOT be providing teaching videos tomorrow.

There will be NO Google Meetings apart from a few A Level classes that will be announced privately only to the students concerned.

All the school administrative offices will be closed.

Dear Friends, further to the announcement of the Minister of Education a few minutes ago, there will be no in-person attendance of students at school tomorrow on Monday 25NOV2024.

In order to provide the online service that the Minister requires, teachers will be providing teaching videos for all their classes tomorrow.

All videos will be posted at the latest by 2:00 pm on Monday for tomorrow’s lessons.

All the school administrative offices will be open from 08:00 am until 1:00 pm
