There will be no school tomorrow, Monday 28th October 2019, for students. However, staff are hoping to attend the school to prepare work for students to do at home. We have now missed 7 days of school (with tomorrow included) and we cannot be sure when the streets will be safe enough to return.
To this end I am going to ask staff to prepare worksheets and details of work that can be done in all main subjects for students from Junior 1 until Class 12. This will be posted on LESSON, hopefully by 1:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
As the work that is set by the teachers tomorrow will require books that the students probably do not have in their possession, I am asking as many parents as are able to bring their children to school tomorrow between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, when their classrooms will be open for them to pick up ALL their books (main subjects only).
Staff will be discussing tomorrow morning if they need to bring exam classes in to teach them if the situation carries on. I realise that not all students will be able to reach school. The lessons will be videoed and then put on YouTube for download. I know this is far from ideal but we need to feel our way carefully in this situation. I will be posting details on this as and when we decide what to do.
