Important message for all students and parents.

Due to the situation in the country over the past 2 days, the following decisions have been made :

1 : There will be NO exams tomorrow. School will be open. The Accounting Department will be open. No exams. No EarlyStart classes.
2 : SE00 and the four students that have mandatory promotion exams (two to Class 9 and two to Class 12ME, they will be contacted separately tomorrow for further instructions) will be held on Saturday 28SEP2024 starting at 08:00 am and finishing at 1:00 pm. There will be NO buses on this day.
3 : All other PSP exams are cancelled.

Monday 23SEP2024
Nursery and LKG parents come as has already been communicated [Groups A and B at their appointed times]. If they feel they are unable to come, they do not come. If you feel unable to attend, please send a message to 71 183 559, informing them of this.

Tuesday 24SEP2024

Wednesday 25SEP2024

Thursday 26SEP2024
Start of school. As normal, apart from Classes 10B 10C 10E as their classrooms will not be ready yet.
Note I had been promised that the work on six new classrooms on the fourth floor of the school would be finished by 10SEP2024. As anyone who has been promised anything by a builder knows, that has not happened! Classes 10B, 10C and 10E will start on Thursday 03OCT2024 unless there are any other delays.

Friday 27SEP2024
School as normal.

Saturday 28SEP2024
SE00 Exams for 10A, 11A, 12A, 12M, 12E
PSP Mandatory promotion exams for the two students to Class 9 and the two students to Class 12ME. Those FOUR students will NOT attend school Thursday 26SEP and Friday 27SEP2024. Results will come later in the day on Saturday JUST FOR THOSE 4 students. All other results will follow.

We will follow carefully the full advice of all stakeholders in this situation and pray for wisdom that we are making the right decisions. I assume 50% feel it is the wrong decision and 50% feel it is the right decision. We cannot win. But we will try!

NOTE : Please post this to every group that you are one so people know that there are NO exams tomorrow. They have been postponed.

Dear Friends, the wait outside the Accountant’s Office at the moment is approximately 3 hours. If you were thinking of coming today, please be aware of this huge waiting time. I advise another day.

Further to the announcement of the Minister of Education a few minutes ago, the school and all the administration and accounting offices of the school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 18SEP2024.
